With the many different kinds of diets today, it can be a bit confusing as to which one you should follow. You want something that doesn’t only help you get to your weight loss goals, but also focusing on your health and wellbeing. That’s where the 30 Days to Healthy Living comes along, a diet program known to help you feel cleansed while reaching your weight loss goals.
But is this diet really worth the try, and if it is, what can we expect of it? Read on as I talk about what happens during these 30 days and my thoughts on it.
What is 30 Days to Healthy Living?
30 Days to Healthy Living is a program made by Arbonne, which is a Swiss company offering nutrition, makeup, and skincare products. It’s a Multi-Level Management (MLM) company, similar to the likes of Mary Kay and Scentsy.
The company’s products are clean and use mainly organic ingredients, has banned more than 2,000 chemicals from their offerings. Besides that, Arbonne has been made a Certified B Corporation balancing purpose and profit.
Now, on to Arbonne’s Healthy Living program!
This is a 30-day program that is designed to help many clean their diet while healing their guts, focusing more on consuming whole and healthy food. Don’t think of it as. “diet”, as it’s made to be sustainable for the long-term, aiding you in developing a healthier lifestyle overall.
Here are some of the benefits it offers:
- Get more energy throughout the day
- Improve your digestion
- Get better sleep
- Have clearer skin
- Be hydrated better
- Not feel the urge to snack
- Lose weight healthily
According to many who have vouched for the program and its results, it’s pretty simple and easy to follow.
And because Arbonne is an MLM offering nutrition products, you’ll be purchasing a set of their nutrition offerings, such as their protein shake mix, detox tea, fizz sticks, digestion products, along with their Greens Balance, 7-Day Body Cleanse, and Fiber Boost.
With the program, you also receive other freebies to help with your meal plans, including recipes, sample grocery lists, and snack ideas. Plus, you receive suggestions for stress and fitness management.
Those who will do the program will follow the guidelines on the food they can consume. Typically, the plan is 70% compliant and 20% eat what you want for flexibility and preventing from depriving you of food you love.
What Exactly Should You Eat?
When you’re on the 30-Day cleanse, you’ll be focusing on eating a lot of fresh fruits and vegetables, along with low-glycemic index and non-toxic grains, and clean, lean meats. You will also have to avoid or eliminate potential allergens and highly acidic food, along with the following:
- Artificial sweeteners
Instead, you’ll be eating more so of the following:
- Lean proteins, including ground turkey, chicken, wild fish, beans, and lentils
- Green veggies, including asparagus, broccoli, spinach, and more
- Nutrient-rich carbs, including sweet potatoes, brown rice, and/or quinoa
- Healthy fats, including avocadoes, olive oil, seeds, and nuts
The main goal of this cleanse is to give your body the nourishing food it needs, avoiding those that cause inflammation. With the added supplements from Arbonne’s nutrition products, you can help heal your gut.
You’ll also be substituting 1-2 meals with protein shakes, with smoothie recipes you can follow for variety and to stay fuller for longer. There is also a list of snacks you can consume when you’re feeling squeamish, and another list of dinner recipes, and a shopping list to make meal planning and cooking much more convenient.
Another thing that’s great about the program is that there is no need for the calorie count of track macros extensively.
Is It Worth Trying?
Now that you’re familiar with what the program entails, is it worth following it?
If you’re looking into weight loss and health, then YES! The program isn’t only designed to help you cleanse your body, but to also lose weight, especially when you stick to the program guidelines and eliminate junk food altogether. Many people have reported losing up to 9 pounds throughout the month, with some losing even more (depending on their starting weight).
Furthermore, the program is designed to help with your fitness journey and mental wellbeing. With its informative guide, you can begin setting goals to exercise and eat healthier to help manage stress, along with how you can relax and stay focused on your goals.
Even after finishing the 30 days, you will feel cleaner and more motivated to continue your journey, eating healthier, and exercising daily as the guide suggests. That way, you can continue losing or maintaining a healthy weight range without feeling deprived.
However, do make sure that you talk with your doctor and let him know about the Arbonne products you will be consuming. Some ingredients may be sensitive to those who are allergic to them or are breastfeeding, pregnant, or with underlying health conditions. Note the ingredient list and check with your doctor to see if they are okay for you to consume during these 30 days.
You may also be wary about the overall price, which costs $444 retail price. This might be too much for something that lasts for only a month! With that said, you can get discounts by becoming a Preferred Client or Arbonne Independent Consultant.
So while I believe it’s worth the price, you can continue healthy living without its products. But, it’s tools and supplements are useful and motivational to kick start your first 30 days!
